Moss

A moss material that I put together this week, base is a photo scan that have been run though Substance Painter and Designer for lighting clean up and tiling. Shader setup and render in Unreal Engine.

This is a part of my project to build up my personal library of assets and materials, to be able to quickly create interesting environments, will post some more materials in the coming days hopefully.

Now I know scans are not as cool as the procedural stuff thats done in Designer, but it turned out pretty good so I figured I'd post it :)

I always use a fresnel effect on the base color of my moss materials to create that fuzzy look that is impossible to create with just the texture. A little tip if you are attempting to do something similar :)
