Battlefield V - Twisted Steel

"I worked as a Senior Level Artist on Battlefield V. Twisted Steel was the level that I was responsible for, together with Daniel Cambrand(Level Artist), Ludvig Kingfors(Level Designer) and Daniel Ax(3D Artist).

I worked on the level from early block out to final polish. My main responsibilities included terrain sculpting and material painting, art dressing, setting up terrain and water shaders, texture creation, creating mesh scatter and making sure it all ran at 60fps on current gen consoles.

I also built the vegetation used throughout the level.

Creating a level of this size, that is basically flat, with no occlusion and filled to the brim with vegetation...and making it run in 60fps on current gen consoles was no easy task. So everything had to be optimized to absurd degrees.
