A Summary of my work as Lead Environment Artist on Warhammer: Vermintide 2.
For this project we worked with a very small Environment Team:
Environment Artists: Arvid Nilsson and Myself
Level Art and Lighting: Tomas Holm (yes all 13 levels)
Weapon Artist: Niklas Eneqvist
Prop Artists: Robin Lundin,Tomislav Spajic, Simon Jonasson
Concept Artists: Mattias Rousk(Lead) and Patrik Rosander
My main focus was asset creation, and setting up the shaders for the environment. With a small team and ALOT of content to be made, creating versatile assets and shaders that aided production time was a big priority for me.
My work mostly focused on the nature stuff, creating all rocks, vegetation and environment textures as well as the filthy war camps of the Rotbloods and Skaven. My colleague Arvid handled most of the buildings, architecture and kick ass epic city vistas. Tomas did a fantastic job assembling all the pieces!
Everyone on the art team did a kickass job creating such a great looking game!
