Embark Desert Biome

This is sort of a follow up to our previous environment tech test here at Embark.
After the completion of the demo we went on a scanning trip to the actual location, Tenerife in the Canary Islands. Which we have documented in a series of blog posts:

This is the result of all the work we have been doing in the weeks since we got back from the trip. Our goal has been to nail the small to medium scale details of our desert biome, as opposed to the large scale and atmosphere that was the focus of the first test. It is all rendered inside UE4.
Pontus Ryman and I have been handling the level, material and asset creation, with additional support by Johan Qvarfordt. While Andrew Hamilton created the vegetation. Lighting was done by Gustav Tilleby and Andrew.
